About Us

The Mid-Hudson Woodworkers (MHW) is a chapter of the Northeastern Woodworkers Association (NWA), “a group of people who love woodworking and want to get better at it”. The NWA base of operations is New York's Capital District. We, the Mid-Hudson Chapter, are based in the Kingston/New Paltz, New York area. NWA also has a number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) whose focus is on a particular subset of woodworking. Our club also partners with the Riverport Wooden Boat School, which is part of the Hudson River Maritime Museum (HRMM.org)

MEETINGS OF THE CHAPTER
Meetings are held live or online via Zoom on the 4th Thursday of each month. Meeting details are sent out to members each month via email.

ACTIVITIES
We conduct classes and workshops separately and in conjunction with the NWA. Meetings include guest speakers, show-and-tell and Members Helping Members sessions. The Association also works with community groups and non-profits in woodworking.
