The Mid-Hudson Woodworkers is a chapter of Northeastern Woodworkers Association (NWA), "a group of people who love woodworking and want to get better at it". The NWA membership is loosely centered around the Albany, New York area with local chapters currently near Sacandaga, New York and the Mid-Hudson Valley region near Kingston, New York.
The Mid-Hudson Woodworkers work actively within the local area having groups involved in scrollsawing, turning, carving, as well as many other forms of woodworking. In addition we work actively with the main organization providing programs on occasion and also support the annual SHOWCASE, a woodworking show featuring judged displays, free lectures, and vendors with wood and tools for sale. |
