Check our Calendar for upcoming classes.
Note: In addition to classes we have a number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that meet monthly focused on specific areas of interest. Visit our SIG page for more information or check our calendar.
As this is a 100% volunteer effort, its success hinges on members willing to convey their knowledge to other members. Over time we hope all shop participants will eventually lead projects.
To participate you must be a member of the Northeastern Woodworkers Association (NWA), our parent organization. Once you join NWA you automatically become a member of MHW. Dues is $60/year and you can join on the NWA Membership page.
You need to read and follow the shop safety manual which is available as a PDF file. You’ll also need to sign a waiver on your first day.
Shop sessions are listed on our MHW Monthly Calendar. Space is limited so advance sign-up is required. Once you become a member you will be added to the email list and receive notifications. Follow instructions in the email to sign up.
